Who is Kat Tansey?
Kat Tansey is an award-winning author, innovative educator and talk show host who believes in the power of a well-told tale to teach while it entertains. She spent her early career consulting with corporations to help them meet the challenges of change. Her first book, Winning the Change Game, reflected on the lessons she learned from her twenty years as a change management consultant.
Her new book, Choosing to Be: Lessons in Living from a Feline Zen Master, is the story of her journey from deep depression to emotional wellness after she was struck down by Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in the early 90’s. The book was awarded the Independent Publisher’s Bronze Medal and has been highly praised by reviewers around the globe.
On her weekly talk show, Finding Magic in Midlife, Kat interviews and explores the wisdom of a wide variety of accomplished and well-known midlife women. In its fourth year, the show reflects the changing world of social media, as Kat now meets many of her guests on Twitter – and the show has its own Facebook Page. Magic in Midlife, indeed!
